It hasn’t been two months from when I started this blog, and the comment spam is killing me. I get about 100 spam comments everyday from automated bots (most likely), so I’m now trying the “SI CAPTCHA” wordpress plugin. This is an anti-spam method where you have to type the phrase shown on the image in the comments form. I really do not like when you have to type the phrase from the image but it’s better than having to check hundreds of spam comments. The plugin also gives you the option of not showing the image for registered users. Screenshots can be found here. I will later post how is this plugin working.
