I would like some “softer” vectors to compliment my usual angular and tech-like illustrations. A favorite illustrator of mine is Eric Fortune.

I do a lot of signage and iconography as well as the occasional logo for a design firm, but my true love is illustration. I constantly experiment with a variety of styles in an attempt to better develop my personal look. My current flavor is experimenting with the “manga” style of drawing.

I also teach graphic design classes at the local community college, as well as an introductory computer graphics class where we teach the pros and cons of PCs and Macs, and the entire Adobe suite and some other programs.

As far as artists, I have several I love… mostly comic book artists. Currently studying a variety of Japanese artists, but I always have room for Art Adams, John and Joan Severin, and of course Jack “King” Kirby.

I like to use soft flowing swirl shapes and floral designs for starting points in my jewelry drawings. It would be AMAZING to have a larger library to draw from. More inspiration!

Artists - I’m currently likeing Stasia Burrington and have just discovered that Mervyn Peake was an illustrator as well as author and am loving his Alice in Wonderland illustrations.

My own playing with graphics tends towards the swirly and floral though I should probably be a bit more focused and illistrative…

I currently use graphic design mostly for my blog, designing of various promotional work and covers for musical pieces. The variety of graphics used all 3 of those fields are vast and any type of graphics and fonts can be used. I am recently just beginning to investigate full illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and adobe Photoshop. My design taste usually concern exploring the female body in a variety of interesting ways.

Some of my favorite artist are Erik Jones, Kris Lewis and Jamie Hewlett who is know mostly for the popular comic Tank Girl and The Gorillaz.
