01. “Bleak Midwinter”

Sas Christian is an artist from London born in 1968. She is greatly inspired on anime and likes to portrait in her oil paintings “weepy girls, punk, catholic, damaged but not broken girls, yet intelligent and independent.” I really like the expressions and the big eyes on her paintings. (more…)

Here is a short film by Wujoco Animation. Wujoco Animation is a small animation team from Buenos Aires, Argentina. This short film is titled “Training” and features two super heroes fighting. This is the first episode of Wujoco’s project called “Defenders of Something”. The animation is very funny, so I hope they keep this project going. (more…)

When I first saw the first image I thought it was a digital painting using some technique to give it the transparent look, but these are actually real life transparent sculptures. These extraordinary sculptures were made by Korean artist Jin Young Yu. I really like her unique style, the transparency make them look like a ghostly vision. (more…)
